Subject: 2022 COVID-19 Policies

Please use the following guidelines when planning practice for the 2022 season:
Mask Use
All players must wear a mask when not actively engaged in volleyball activity. Masks may be worn or
removed on the court while participating in volleyball activity. Coaches and staff/volunteers must wear
a mask at all times to and from the court and while not engaging in participation.
Distancing
Physical distance does not need to be maintained during volleyball practices. However, when outside
the immediate practice environment participates should maintain distance from outside groups. e.g.
when going to get water distance should be maintained from other user groups sharing a facility.
Group sizes
There is no restriction on the size of groups for any activities or drills during a volleyball practice.
Spectators
At this time, spectators are not permitted to attend practices.
Screening
All participants (players and coaches/staff/volunteers) should perform a self assessment before each
practice. If you have any COVID-19 related symptoms you are not permitted to attend practice.

Additional Considerations
There may be additional requirements specific to each facility that we use These policies are subject to
change as more information is distributed from the BC Government, Regional Health Authorities,
ViaSport, and/or Volleyball BC.
